Where did you come from where did you go where did you come from Cotton Eye Joe?

So here is the little monster from Rose's book. I put buttons on him for eyes and then took them off after deciding they aren't baby friendly (as Flegg said, you wouldn't want a choking death on your conscience.)
Flegg has a better pic actually of him nestled among the snacks we ate at knitting. (we have our priorities.....)
He looks better with buttons though maybe he just needs pupils? What do you think? A twin will be knitted for the twins but first I have to do a birthday snood....
