Stephanie made the most amazing gift at Christmas, sloe gin!It was so tasty, in my flat it was enjoyed neat and within a number of cocktails. So many infact, that it lasted about a week.
I've only put a small photo here because I have have filled the bottle with water to give you an idea of how it would look filled with gin.
I am a skank I know. But really Steph, please send more.
Ah thanks for posting that Flegg. Can't believe I forgot to take any pics of the gin. You should refill it with vodka, that's what the book said you could do. Or gin again I guess would work too! Have not seen any sloe berries in NZ yet- guess I should do some research! It would be nearly the season for them. In England you are supposed to wait til after the first frost to collect the berries, but apparently there are no frosts here so I may have to stick with banana wine, unfortunately.
