Shortening

It's embarrassing to admit to you fashionistas but this is the first time I have seriously attempted to shorten something and had any success.

I bought this dress at a second hand shop in Levin for $10. It was floor length - which looked quite cool. Too much of a polka dot assault for real life though - it needed some shortening. Also, I'm going to a classy hen do on Sunday . My friend Sally is getting married and all her friends (who I don't know) are undoubtedly very successful - need to look fabulous.

This was a hand sewing job - you can see some of my hand stitches in the picture.

Obviously I don't need to tell you how I did it but I need some props please! I have a serious crik in my neck and lots of pricks in my fingers. Now that Robert has a job (!yay!) we will be buying a sewing machine, stat.

I also made Flair's mums Wristletz. They are super cute, I'm giving them to my cousin Molly.

Miss you guys lots!
