I'm loving angels in bed

Third installment of the Knitivity.  Very exciting that the bebe Jesus will be arriving soon.  After the donkey (or dunkey). Angel Gabriel.  He's multicoloured under that robe.  This knitivity will be diverse.

Sitting on my bed.  I didn't make his hair.

Mat, hat and tat

Hat
Mat
Tat
Christmas gifts for other people made from the kindness of my heart.  Hat for baby Bella, her and her mum now have matching ones.  Mat for my mum, I liked this pattern but didn't like how it turned out.  Tat / bracelet for my friend Sarah Puppy (her of pudding hat fame), this is made with silver, silk thread and vintage beads.

Flegg avec pom pom

Hello sweets!  New year, new blogging resolutions...

It's been about nine years since I made anything but I am back!  First example above.  I began making some presents and soon gave up on that and started making selfish things instead.  I saw a girl wearing a hat like that and realised that if I wanted one, I'd have to knit it myself.  The pom pom was long and I did not enjoy making it.  I think I might look a bit nuts in it but I love it.  Have also just made one in grey and green as well.  Can't get enough.

This is just the beginning...

Play Possum

These are the possum merino gloves I have finally finished for my ma's birthday. She requested long fingerless mitts with a cable so hope she is happy with them. They are really super warm :)

BOOBIES!

Nate is modelling a boob hat which is for a friend's about to be born baby. I love the joke of wearing it while breastfeeding. Hope she thinks it is funny too! It's basically the umbilical cord hat.

Polly Pocket slippers

A pair of pocketbook slippers, a la Flegg. Very tempted to keep these as they are surprisingly cosy.
